Winner and India's Creative Future 2007 - Priya Patil
Priya Patil
, a 27 - year - old fashion/accessory designer from Mumbai was announced Winner and India's Creative Future 2007. Priya was presented with a unique and specially commissioned glass bowl designed by Gillies - Jones and £3000 .

Pioneering Vision Award - Aparna Rao
Aparna Rao, proprietor and senior designer of Applied Fiction, an interaction design studio based in Bangalore was awarded for the most Pioneering Vision; Aparna impressed the judges with the clarity of her vision, extensive international networks and her exceptional focus for building a formidable reputation for innovation and setting new standards of excellence.

Outstanding Entrepreneurship Award - Sheetal Sudhir
Sheetal Sudhir,
Broadcast Designer and currently Head of on-air-promotions of Channel [V], Star India Pvt. Ltd was awarded for Outstanding Entrepreneurship. Sheetal demonstrated a sound grasp of her sector and the potential for her new business start - up in broadcast design.

Greatest Journey Since April 2006 Award - Nila Madhab Panda
Nila Madhab Panda
who represents Elean or a Images, a multimedia organisation, based in Delhi , involved in creating unique audio - visual software was awarded for the Greatest Journey Since April 2006

All the three winners received cheques for £1000 each.

Special mention - Nitin Das
Nitin Das,
an independent Film maker from Delhi received special mention for his “strong social agenda and commitment to developing a new business model that leveraged opportunities for ordinary citizens to participate in the creative sector ”

On February 7 and 8, eighteen participants (short listed from the 1084 creative proposals received in May 2006) made final business presentations to a Jury of Creative Entrepreneurs and Business experts comprising of Chris Powell, Chair of NESTA, Vice Chair and Independent Member of the Public Diplomacy Board ; Niret Alva CEO of Miditech, one of Asia's leading independent production companies ; Sujata Keshavan - Co-Founder and Managing Director , Ray & Keshavan, India's leading brand identity and design consultants and Sanmit Ahuja , Head of India Affairs, Commonwealth Business Council. The Jury was chaired by Andrew Senior , Head Creative Industries British Council.
